There’s one key element that any successful meeting I have been to, and it is always about there being actions from the meeting. Right? Where that’s accountable. So whenever you’re having a meeting with people, of course, you need to first ask why are we having this meeting, and so hopefully there’s a reason for doing that. But in the end, when you walk out of the meeting, the best meetings are the ones that actually have follow-up actions that need to be done as a result of this meeting, and also who owns those actions. You know, I mean, ‘cause it’s very easy to say we need to do x, y, and z and you’re going to do this and you’re going to do that and you’re going to do that. It has to be assigned, there has to be some accountability to get that done. So that’s what you’re trying to get together with, as a meeting, is you’re trying to figure out what needs to happen afterwards and who’s going to get that work done.
