Diverse Suppliers
We welcome diverse suppliers to register through our Supplier Diversity portal. This allows us to learn your business’ capabilities and qualifications as a diverse supplier. Registering and maintaining an active profile allows The Hartford procurement decision-makers to identify diverse suppliers that fit specific search criteria.
Registration does not designate a preferred supplier status or contractual agreement but gives our team the chance to review specific capabilities and confirm your qualifications as a diverse supplier.
Prime Suppliers
The Hartford encourages Tier II direct supplier diversity spending, which includes subcontractors providing goods or services to prime suppliers of The Hartford. Tier II also includes indirect spending, such as prorated contracted spending with diverse suppliers based on supplier sales or a percentage of a supplier's total revenue.
